Following her Dad's death in November 2023, Lisa's growing passion to educate the community, and start conversations, about advance care planning, dementia, palliation, and end of life choices led to her writing a second book (published in November 2024) and seeking out as many opportunities as possible to speak about her family's experience. Lisa spoke at the International Dementia Conference in Sydney (September 2024), as part of the Palliative Care and End of Life stream, and thoroughly enjoyed being one of the 1000+ attendees who were treated to a packed two-day program of speakers from around the globe.
